None of the ferries that operate in the waters of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are currently in total compliance of all the approved standards related to sea travel.

That’s according to Director of Maritime Affairs David Robin who said this week that they are aware of the problems and are trying their best to address them.

Robin added that there are serious problems with resources, safety and manpower/staffing and these problems are affecting efforts to improve the standards of the various ferry services.
