Carnival activities on the mainland ended on Tuesday July 6th but come tomorrow Thursday July 29th, the Grenadines will get their share of Carnival when Canoaun Carnival activities kick off.

The Canoaun Carnival activities is being organised by Club Nuevo under the theme “Party to the end for Canouan Carnival 2K10”. The activities will begin on Thursday with a Carnival lime and a Status Fete at Planet Hollywood. On Friday, Night Mas will be held while activities continue on Saturday July 31st with the Miss Rural SVG Pageant. On Sunday a beach lime and Wet Fete dubbed Water World will entertain revelers.

J’ouvert celebrations will take place on Monday August 2nd and this will be followed by the Monday Afternoon Street jump up which this year is being called Street Vibes.

Street vibes will bring the Canoaun Carnival activities to a close.
